How long does caliper painting take?
Our standard caliper painting service takes approximately 3–5 hours, depending on the caliper condition and chosen finish. We’ll confirm your drop-off and collection times when you book, along with any paint-specific curing and aftercare instructions.
What warranty is included?
We offer a 2-year warranty on our caliper painting service. Warranty details are provided with your quote. If you notice an issue with the finish, contact us with photos so we can assess it.
What paint do you use?
We use high temperature resistant 2K paint for our brake caliper refinishing. We’ll confirm your chosen colour and finish before painting.
Does painting affect brake performance?
Caliper painting is cosmetic; it does not increase braking power or replace brake servicing. Correct preparation and masking keep paint away from braking surfaces and working components. Any existing brake faults should be assessed before refinishing.
Do you remove the calipers or paint them on the car?
We paint the calipers while they remain fitted to your car, with the wheels removed and surrounding parts carefully protected. We don’t recommend caliper removal for a standard cosmetic colour change: removal and refitting require extra mechanical labour and can substantially increase the cost. If removal is necessary, the additional labour and cost will be quoted separately before work begins.
How much does caliper painting cost?
Pricing depends on your vehicle, caliper condition, chosen colour and the work involved. Send your make, model, year and clear caliper photos for a quote before you book.
Can I choose a custom colour or add decals?
Explore a look in the colour studio, then tell us your preferred shade and any decal or logo request. We’ll confirm availability and suitability for your calipers. Screen previews are illustrative; the final shade is agreed with your quote.
When can I drive or wash my car afterwards?
Follow the driving and cleaning instructions provided for your chosen coating. A finish that feels dry may still be curing. Collection time and any wait before washing or using cleaners will be confirmed with your booking.

Our brake caliper painting workshop is at Supreme Auto Customs, 36 Longview Court, Thomastown VIC 3074. We are open Monday–Saturday, 10 am–6 pm, and customers bring their cars to us by appointment. Do you offer alloy wheel painting and other car customisation?
Yes. Supreme Auto Customs also offers alloy wheel painting in Thomastown, plus body kit, front lip, diffuser and spoiler fitting, grille installation, ambient lighting, multimedia and CarPlay. We professionally install customer-supplied aftermarket parts and accessories, subject to fitment assessment. Discuss the service and quote with us before booking.
