CALIPER PAINTING QUOTES · MELBOURNE

Caliper painting cost:
compare the whole job.

A useful price starts with your actual calipers and the finish you want. Here is what to send, what affects the work and what to check before booking.

Why we quote your vehicle rather than publish one universal price

Two cars can need different preparation even when their owners choose the same colour. The condition of the existing finish, the calipers to be painted and the requested detail all shape the work. A short quote conversation helps the workshop price the actual job rather than an assumed example.

At Caliper Painting Melbourne, a service of Supreme Auto Customs, we confirm the scope and price before work begins. Send your make, model, year and clear photos of the calipers, together with your colour idea. If you are considering both wheels and calipers, say so: those are separate services and the quote should make each part clear.

Preparation, colour and finishing details

Tell us if the calipers have already been painted, if the existing finish is peeling or if you are unsure what is underneath it. Photographs of both the front and rear calipers are more useful than a photo of the whole car taken from a distance. The workshop can then discuss the starting condition and any preparation that needs closer assessment.

Choose an initial shade, then ask us to confirm the actual colour and finish. If you want a decal, tell us what you have in mind so it can be discussed as part of the job. A preview can help explain your colour combination; it cannot confirm decal availability or reproduce every paint effect.

Does the quote include removing the calipers?

Our standard cosmetic painting service is carried out with the calipers fitted to the car. The wheels are removed and the surrounding components are protected for the work. The caliper coating is high temperature resistant 2K paint.

Caliper removal and refitting require extra mechanical labour, so we do not recommend removal for a standard colour change. If removal is necessary, we explain the extra work and quote it separately before proceeding. Compare quotes on the same basis: an on-car colour change and a job involving removal are different scopes.

Five details to check before you book

  • Which calipers are included, and what preparation has been allowed for?
  • What colour, finish and any agreed decal detail will be supplied?
  • Is the quoted process on-car, and is any extra mechanical work listed separately?
  • What drop-off and collection arrangement applies to your booking?
  • What are the warranty details and the aftercare instructions for your finish?

Our standard caliper painting takes approximately 3–5 hours and comes with a 2-year caliper painting warranty, with the details provided in your quote. Service time and the coating's curing instructions are separate matters; confirm both for your appointment.

Bring a colour idea to our Thomastown workshop

Try a prepared vehicle in See your car, compare wheel and caliper colours, and save a combination you like. Then send the preview with your actual vehicle details and photos. This gives us a clear starting point for a quote while leaving the final colour and finish to be confirmed.

Customers bring their cars to Supreme Auto Customs at 36 Longview Court, Thomastown VIC 3074. We are open Monday–Saturday, 10 am–6 pm; arrange your appointment before travelling. Call 0494 157 733 or request a quote online.
