ALLOY WHEEL PAINTING · PLANNING YOUR FINISH

A new wheel colour
or new wheels?

Before replacing your wheels, work out which part of the look you want to change. A colour choice and a different wheel design are separate decisions.

When your existing design already suits the car

If you like the spoke pattern of your wheels but want a different colour, painting is an option to discuss. Black can connect the wheels with dark exterior trim, silver can make the spoke design easier to see, and bronze can introduce a warmer contrast. The useful question is whether a colour change achieves your goal with the wheels you already have.

Supreme Auto Customs offers alloy wheel painting at our Thomastown workshop. We discuss your preferred colour and finish, assess the starting condition and confirm the work before you book. The final quote depends on your actual wheels and the agreed scope.

When colour is not the change you are looking for

Painting keeps the existing wheel's shape and dimensions. It will not turn one spoke pattern into another or create a different wheel size. If you want a new design, identify that goal before arranging a paint quote, then investigate suitable replacement wheels separately.

A replacement-wheel decision needs more than choosing a colour in a picture. Ask the supplier to confirm the actual product's suitability for your vehicle and discuss any other work needed. Our colour preview is a styling aid, not a wheel fitment or compatibility assessment.

Describe the condition before choosing a finish

Take clear photos of each wheel and point out visible marks or damage when you enquire. Include your make, model and year, the number of wheels to be painted and whether they have an existing painted or other finish. That context lets the workshop discuss the preparation and any assessment needed.

A colour change is separate from repairing a damaged wheel. Paint alone does not repair a bent or cracked wheel. Tell us about any known damage rather than expecting a new coating to address it; the suitable scope must be confirmed before work begins.

Preview the wheels with the rest of the car

Use See your car to compare wheel colours alongside your body and caliper colour. Start with something close to your existing body colour, try two or three rim shades and compare them in the same view. Then switch to the wheel detail to look at the colour combination more closely.

Prepared AI-generated previews are free to explore and do not require a photo upload. Each is a representative vehicle design, so the exact trim, wheels and paint appearance may differ from yours. Save a combination you like and send it with photos of your actual wheels; we will confirm the available shade and finish for the quote.

Compare complete quotes, then plan your booking

For a wheel painting quote, confirm the wheels included, the preparation, agreed finish and any additional work. Ask about service timing, collection, aftercare and any applicable wheel-painting warranty. The 3–5 hour timing and 2-year warranty advertised for our caliper painting should not be assumed to apply to wheel painting.

If you also want a caliper colour change, ask for both services to be described clearly in the quote. A coordinated wheel and caliper combination can be planned together, while the work and booking details are confirmed for each service.
